Yesterday was June 15 - which means mid of the month and mid of the year! So I decided I would to a quick Top 10 Reads of 2012 for the first half the year!
And I decided to include books I read this year, which means some of them were published last year but I just got now to read…
- Other women: I hate my body because I'm fat/ugly/etc.
- Me: I hate my body because there's no baby growing in it.

The bad things don’t always cancel out the good. Because bad things get so much press, they’re what we hear about, day in and day out. But good things happen by the thousands, by the millions and billions. They’re the reason that we keep going. Even though bad things happen, the good things make life worth living.
i was in a mess of tears by the end of this it’s so beautiful
Actually reblogging this because… THIS. If the world actually does end, this is what I want to remember. If I ever feel like the world is terrible and I want it all to end, this is what I need to se. And because I believe this can make anyone’s day better.
I cried.
the fact that there were 22 elementary school children in China who were severely stabbed by a crazy man outside their school is not getting any recognition is upsetting to me
especially since this is a part of a long string of repetitive, rising attacks in various parts of China over the past couple years
rest in peace the 20 victims in Newton, and many thoughts to the 22 children from Chenpeng Village Primary School waiting on their fate
